Prolux Filter Adapter Change Over. To eliminate the hepa filter as you see in the lower part of the picture and change over to the normal motor filter you will need to follow these steps: 1. Remove the 3 screws that hold the handle release pedal in place then remove the pedal completely. 2. Lay the machine on the carpet or floor flat with the front of the machine facing you. Remove the bags door. Remove the 4 screws that hold the motor cover. 3. Remove the motor cover then pull the hepa filter and the filter adapter completely out of the machine. 4. Place the white plastic motor filter in the place of the old adapter. It should slide right in. 5. Put the charcoal motor filter above it. Put the motor cover back on, then the handle release pedal. In the picture you will see the plastic screen motor filter which replaces the adapter. You also see two filters. Please advise me in the comments which charcoal filter you need, usually it is the one without the cut out on one side but they may have changed that with newer models. Your getting one charcoal pre motor filter and one hard plastic screened motor filter.
